Viola Elizabeth Pascua-Concepcion
The last time a baby girl was born to the Carlos Clan was 21 years ago.. and that baby girl was me. The following years, my cousins started to have their own families and bore children. There were 7 children in the third generation and all of them are boys. And we feel drought for not having a baby girl.
2009: The first time a male cousin got married.
2010: When we heard his wife is pregnant, we had a speculation think that maybe because a girl is married, her child is a boy and now that a boy is married, maybe his child will be a girl. Just our wishful thinking.
May 22, 2010: A good news came, Ate Gen gave birth to a bouncing baby girl! And as the title says, "Viola Elizabeth PAscua-Concepcion" is her name, named after my auntie, her grandmother Violeta, and her grandmother to mother side, Elizabeth.
Unfortunately, she's in Canada. We had to wait until November for her to come to the Philippines. We just have to wait patiently and see her through pictures.
And we are all looking forward in seeing her again next November.

Unexpected Come Back
It's been a long time since I updated this blog and now I have to come back, or rather, I direly NEED to come back.
My last normal entry "Ano nga ba?" was my first two weeks in San Beda College which was way back June 2010. And who would have thought it's been 1 year and 8 months since I wrote that and it's already my 4th semester in San Beda? Time flew so fast and I regret I didn't updated my blog and wrote my experiences this past few months, something I would have been able to look back.
Maintaining a blog is hard for it requires time, commitment and discipline. Thinking through your blog entries takes time to make it more of sensible. Blogging is not just 2-3 entries and then you quit, or just to say you've said something though it's already senseless and rounding around. You've got to share something interesting, your knowledge, your experiences and the likes. You'll also need discipline in allotting time to make a blog to your busy schedule.

If it wasn't for my Public Relation subject this semester, I wouldn't think of reactivating this account. Or maybe it was in a good timing?
